Online Bulletin and Prayer List

OCTOBER 1, 2021

If you are like me then it is hard to believe October is already here! But we can take comfort in knowing that, even as time moves by quickly, God is steady and unchanging, and He is in control. As Jesus says in Revelation 22: 13 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end..” Life is full of chaos, but God is our firm foundation. Let us look to Him in every season.

 In Christ,

Pastor Benjamin Boyd

   PRESCHOOL

Many thanks for the great auction items that were sent in for the preschool auction.  Your support is so important to our preschool ministry! Our preschoolers are enjoying each day as they learn about Our Father’s World.  They have studied creation, learned about the Good Samaritan, and have started to learn the alphabet through God’s creations – S for Sun! The children have brought in foods for the food pantry that begin with the letter S – sugar, soup, salt, spaghetti, etc. Betsy Q has visited to sing songs.  The Goochland 4-H program is teaming with  us this year to provide fun lessons.  Our Pre-K students made solar ovens to make Smore’s, designed sun dials and experimented with the sun’s heat by determining what would melt. All of our preschoolers made suncatchers as well.  Preschool is off to a great start!
