Online Bulletin and Prayer ListDECEMBER 1, 2021 A MESSAGE FROM YOUR PASTOR: It is hard to believe December is already here! As we look forward to Christmas this year, let us remember why God tells us to celebrate holidays. When God rescued His people from Egypt He told them to celebrate. Exodus 12: 17 says, “Celebrate the Festival of Unleavened Bread, because it was on the very day that I brought your divisions out of Egypt. Celebrate this day as a lasting ordinance for the generations to come.” We celebrate to remember what God has done. We celebrate Christmas because God has done something even greater than rescuing us from slavery in Egypt, He has rescued us from slavery to sin and death by entering into the world Himself. Let us keep our focus on Him, because this is why we celebrate Christmas!
Merry Christmas! Pastor Benjamin Boyd

The children have learned how God takes care of all His creatures – providing nests for birds (N week), giving us our 5 senses (U week), and caring for us all – big and small – as they learned about dinosaurs (D week). The classes have been thinking of their many blessings as they prepare for Thanksgiving. Each class will celebrate with a “feast” in class. Smokey the Bear and Forester Chuck Wright visited to teach the children about fire safety. Our children gave Smokey a “bear” to go along with him to hibernate during the winter months. Cayla Walker, our Goochland 4-H agent, continues to provide enrichment lessons to our Pre-K classes. During November, she made nests and dinosaur fossils with the Pre-K classes.
